Book # 8

The barnyard animals are thrilled to learn about different holidays! After enjoying a fun-filled Thanksgiving, they're buzzing with excitement to celebrate Christmas, especially the little ones who can't wait for the magic. They dream of receiving gifts and decorating a beautiful Christmas tree. Their eyes light up imagining Santa soaring through the night sky in his sleigh. Suddenly, Monkey becomes a hero by devising an amazing plan—he borrows the neighbor’s crop duster to make Christmas unforgettable. Christmas was an extraordinary and memorable holiday event for the little barnyard animals.

The barnyard animals are learning about various holidays. But wait, their first Christmas celebration is at hand. How did they celebrate? Oh no, did they eat their gifts and the Christmas tree?

“I’m eager to celebrate Christmas.” Monkey boasted.

“Gift-giving sounds so exciting,” Deputy Doggie howled. “Now that we can read and write, we will order gifts. Farmer Joe will be away until the New Year, and we will make the best of this joyous season.”

“What will we do with gifts?” Brewster Rooster asked. “Gift giving is just a bunch of nonsense. By the way, Monkey, your numb-skull ideas are a bunch of hogwash.”

“Watch your mouth,” squealed Pinky Pig. Keep your nose out of the pigpen.”

“All of this talk about celebrating Christmas is making me cocky,” Brewster Rooster shouted. “Monkey, you’re the problem, and I'm about to teach you who’s boss around here.”

Monkey quickly climbed up to the top of the nearest tree. “Why don’t you be a friend, not a bully!” Monkey begged.

“I don't have to and you can't get away that easily,”  Brewster Rooster said. “Did you forget that I can fly?”

Monkey sat quietly thinking about Christmas. He refused to let anything or anyone ruin it.
