Every day is a delightful reading experience with Mamie Holiday. Too much of anything can be harmful, especially sweets. The barnyard animals discovered sugary treats during a visit to a neighboring farm. Before long, several of the animals experienced tooth decay due to their unhealthy food choices. Oh no! It’s time for a dentist visit. However, Cathy calf, Snappy cat, Pugga, and Sugga pups are afraid of the dentist. In the end, they have a positive experience. Several barnyard animals were introduced to sweets while visiting a neighboring farm.
“Our barnyard friends on the Ellison farm are pampered,” Cathy calf said. “They eat whatever they want, especially sugary sweets.”

“Wow!” Deputy Doggie howled. “Anything they want?”
“Yep!” Cathy calf replied. “No healthy choices for their pallets. Instead of a salt lick, they get a sugar lick.”
“I have never heard of a sugar lick,” Monkey exclaimed. “Must be something new.”

“I admit that I don’t have a beautiful smile anymore,” Pugga Pup frowned. “I have cavities and swollen painful gums. I lose sleep because my teeth ache all night.”
